Jessica DeVoto For Missouri State Representative, District 69 Democratic Candidate Pro-Choice. Pro-Union. Pro-Democracy. | |
Jessica DeVoto moved to St. Charles in 2015 after graduating from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s in Business Administration from Maryville University. She has experience working in customer service, bookkeeping, and property management. DeVoto’s primary concern is the rights and personal liberties of her constituents— including women, ethnic minorities, LGBTQ individuals, individuals with disabilities, low-income families, etc.— not the interests of large corporations. In addition, DeVoto believes that expanding healthcare, restoring reproductive rights, empowering unions, and investing in education are critical to making our great state greater yet. Missouri's state motto is salus populi suprema lex esto, which means "let the welfare of the people be the supreme law." The Missouri legislature has lost sight of this guiding principle. DeVoto will represent your best interest and deliver government of the people by the people for the people.
